Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Factory Planning expert to join NVIDIA’s Regional Factory Planning organization. The Factory Planner plays a meaningful role in ensuring reliable, scalable, and timely supply of high-performance products to customers around the world. This role is responsible for translating demand into executable factory plans by aligning materials, capacity, and manufacturing readiness across contract manufacturing (CM) partners and cross-functional teams.You will work closely with Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Engineering, and CM partners to support likely build commits, refine operational execution, and steadily increase planning efficiency. This position involves actively using AI-enabled analytics and automation tools to raise efficiency, decision quality, and responsiveness in a dynamic high-tech manufacturing setting.What you’ll be doing:Drive the most probable build commits by balancing demand, manufacturing constraints, and CM capabilities while proactively identifying supply risks.Monitor and drive execution of weekly factory build plans, ensuring actual delivery adheres to committed plans and achieves OTD targets.Collaborate with cross-functional groups such as Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Global Supply Chain, Inventory Control Planners, and CM partners to guarantee plan feasibility and implementation.Monitor CM capacity, identify gaps, and support mitigation plans to resolve constraints impacting production.Partner with Inventory Control Planners to ensure balanced inventory for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, aiming to limit shortages, overstock, and aging.Use AI, analytics, and automation tools to improve planning efficiency, scenario analysis, and predictive risk assessment.Identify and drive automation opportunities to streamline repetitive planning tasks using digital tools, RPA, or intelligent technologies.Continuously improve planning processes to increase accuracy, responsiveness, and operational excellence while supporting supply chain digitalization initiatives.What we need to see:Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or equivalent experience.More than 5 years of experience in factory planning, production planning, or supply chain management within a regional or global manufacturing setting, ideally in high-tech industries.Strong understanding of factory operations, capacity planning, and manufacturing execution in a CM-based model.Hands-on experience demonstrating AI, advanced analytics, automation, or digital tools to increase efficiency, planning accuracy, or decision-making in operations or supply chain functions.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of interpreting complex data and converting it into actionable plans.Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively alongside cross-functional teams and external CM partners.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly changing environment while continuously learning and adapting to new technologies.Strong verbal and written English communication skills, including the ability to present data-driven insights to collaborators.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Strong passion for operational excellence and supply assuranceProven eagerness and openness to consistently acquire knowledge about new technologies, particularly AI and automation toolsProven approach to process optimization and efficiency improvementSelf-motivated, proactive, and comfortable driving changes in complex environmentsWell organized, diligent, with strong follow-up and follow-through skills as well as a collaborative great teammate with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityNVIDIA is widely regarded as one of the technology world’s most sought-after employers.
