Job Description

We are looking for a creative and experienced Technical Program Manager to help us bring NVIDIA's autonomous vehicle platform out to the world. As a key member, you will be an authority responsible for the managing and delivering new platforms and technologies into the fleet. You will work with hardworking and dedicated multi-functional engineering development teams across various vehicle subsystems to integrate their work into our autonomous DRIVE SW platform, while achieving or exceeding all relevant NVIDIA and automotive standards & guidelines. You'll find the work is exciting, fun, and meaningful. We have customers, and competition. NVIDIA gives automakers, Tier 1 suppliers, automotive research institutions, and start-ups the power and flexibility to develop and deploy breakthrough artificial intelligence systems for self-driving vehicles. Today, we are working with over 270 partners that are using our platform in the development of autonomous cars, trucks, shuttles and taxis.What you'll be doing:Incorporate new platform technologies: Drive technologies from bringup to production working cross-functionally across teams.Onboard new customer vehicles: Coordinate onboarding of new vehicles from conception, to bringup, to fleet adoption.Handle risks and resolve issues that affect fleet technologies scope, schedule, and quality.Assist in improving process and procedures within the team. Help streamline day-to-day operations.Define scope and work independently with cross-functional engineering teams to come up with and handle project roadmaps, schedules, milestones and work you're doing as part of the development team.What we need to see:BS/MS Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).8+ years recent industry and Program/Project Management experience driving the planning and execution of software engineering projects, and releasing commercial products.Experienced in projects usually involve new product areas.You have a proven record of leading and successfully delivering scalable programs and projects, process improvements.Shown ability to evaluate and drive adoption of new and improved process workflows in scalable organizations.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Familiarity with embedded systems.Experience in Automotive system integration.Experience in effectively leading global projects across time zones.Background with Jira and/or JAMA, to the point that you can comfortable mentoring an engineering team how to use these tools and complete with agilityExpertise in Agile and Scrum methodology.Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
