The Chief of Staff is the strategic execution partner to the India Country Manager, responsible for translating priorities into measurable outcomes. The role drives operating rhythm, cross-functional alignment, strategic initiatives, government affairs coordination, and leadership effectiveness across the India organization.As a trusted advisor to the Country Manager, the Chief of Staff enables decision-making, orchestrates high-impact initiatives, manages governance and execution mechanisms, and strengthens relationships across government, industry, academia, and internal stakeholders.Key Responsibilities1. Country Strategy & Executive SupportFocus: Enable the Country Manager to drive enterprise priorities and country-level strategic outcomes.Support development and execution of India country priorities and strategic initiativesDrive leadership alignment and OSIR review processesProvide structured analysis, insights, and recommendations for key decisionsDevelop executive communications, presentations, and briefing materialsEnsure effective follow-through on leadership actions and commitments2. PMO & Operational ExcellenceFocus: Drive execution discipline, governance, and organizational effectiveness.Lead strategic program and portfolio management across country initiativesEstablish governance mechanisms and operating cadencesTrack progress, dependencies, risks, and action closureDrive accountability and execution across cross-functional stakeholdersImprove processes, reporting, and operational effectiveness3. Government Affairs & Ecosystem EngagementFocus: Strengthen NXP India's external influence and strategic partnerships.Support Government Affairs strategy and policy advocacy effortsCoordinate engagement with government, industry bodies, academia, and research institutionsManage ecosystem initiatives involving startups, universities, and innovation programsDevelop briefing materials and stakeholder engagement plansIdentify partnership opportunities that support NXP India's growth and reputation4.
