As a student in Human-Machine Interface (HMI) System Applications, you will be supporting the System Applications Team with different task in developing and optimizing the HMI test bench using 6-axis and 3-axis robots. We are looking for a student in the greater area of Gratkorn/Graz to support our team part-time, in parallel to their studies. Your Responsibilities:Optimizing movements of the robots with respect to accuracy and execution timeExtending the existing framework (LabVIEW) with requested featuresSupporting the team with 3D design skills for small fixturesSoldering of SMD componentsWorking in a lab environment with lab instruments and support the team on measurements tasksYour ProfileOngoing studies in a technical field (e.g. Information and Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Smart Automation etc.)Knowledge in working and programming Cobots (collaborative Robots)Knowledge of path planning and precise movementsKnowledge of 3D design and 3D printingKnowledge in LabVIEW programmingBasic knowledge in PythonBasic knowledge in embedded microcontrollers is an advantageGood English skills (spoken and written)Valid work authorization required Availability around 20h/weekPlease note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks.
