Principal Field Application Engineer - MPU
Job Description
NXP is seeking an experienced Field Application Engineer to support automotive applications processors and related system solutions. This role focuses on demand creation, customer design-in support, and successful project execution for key customers.Responsibilities:Promote NXP MPU products and vertical solutions in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.Act as the main technical interface for customers throughout the project lifecycle.Support customer product development based on NXP’s advanced automotive processors.Provide technical guidance on software, hardware, system architecture, and issue resolution.Drive technical engagement, design-in activities, and customer project success.Requirements:Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience with high-performance Arm multi-core platforms.Strong knowledge of RTOS and embedded software development.Hands-on experience with Linux programming, kernel development, and device drivers.Knowledge of NPU and edge AI technologies is preferred.Familiarity with embedded hardware and high-speed interfaces such as SGMII, XFI, and PCIe.Excellent internal and external communication skills.Strong learning ability and ownership mindset.Good written and spoken English skills.More information about NXP in Greater China...#LI-d6f4
