Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex SPICE Model Library development and release projects in close collaboration with NXP modeling teams, Silicon Reliability and design enablement. In addition, the projects also involve significant interaction and alignment with semiconductor foundries (internal as well as external).In this role, you will drive execution from concept through model validation and release, ensuring alignment on scope, schedule, cost, and technical deliverables while operating in a fast-paced, software-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead multiple work packages across model development, validation, and library releasePlan, monitor, and control project execution to ensure timely delivery of model releases, qualification targets, and key milestonesCoordinate cross-functional teams including modeling, silicon reliability, design enablement, process technology, and external partnersDrive execution of the project plan, facilitating decision-making and resolving technical and organizational challengesEnsure alignment between model development, validation results, and design requirementsIdentify and mitigate risks related to model accuracy, coverage, reliability, and release readinessEnsure clear, structured, and transparent reporting on progress, risks, and deviationsAlign stakeholders across functions and sites to ensure successful delivery and adoption of model librariesContribute to continuous improvement of project management practices, tools, and software development workflowsRequired SkillsStrong technical understanding of semiconductor modeling and/or process technologyAble to follow discussions on device modeling, simulation models, and validation, and translate them into structured execution plansExcellent communication and influencing skillsCommunicates complex technical topics clearly across engineering and non-engineering audiencesStructured and pragmatic mindsetBrings clarity and structure in fast-moving environments with evolving requirementsProactive and results-driven approachAnticipates risks, drives mitigation, and ensures strong follow-through to completionStrong stakeholder managementAligns cross-functional teams (modeling, reliability, design, process technology) and manages competing prioritiesPreferred QualificationsMSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the semiconductor industryExperience in device modeling, SPICE model development, simulation, or design enablement environmentsUnderstanding of model validation, reliability modeling, or PDK/model library developmentFamiliarity with software development lifecycles or release-driven environments is a strong plusProven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional technical projectsStrong leadership and communication skillsSelf-driven, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environmentsMore information about NXP in the Netherlands...#LI-f5d0
