Job Description

For our site in Gratkorn, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Director – System Architect to join our innovative team. In this key role, you will drive the architecture and technical direction of cutting-edge UHF RFID systems, working closely with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.Your Responsibilities:Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and Technical Leads to define and refine detailed product requirements based on customer needsDesign robust and scalable system architectures aligned with defined requirements and customer use casesDefine and drive system integration and validation concepts and plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teamsSupport product development teams throughout implementation and validation phases, ensuring high product quality and technical excellenceAct as a technical interface to key customers from product definition through production ramp-up, proactively addressing new requirements and complex system issuesConduct in-depth technical investigations of competitor products to identify trends and opportunitiesActive participation and influence in standardization activities in for RFID, UHF area (i.e. EPC)Engage and collaborate with global teams, contributing technical leadership across regionsYour Profile:Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field, with 15 + years of relevant industry experienceProven expertise in system architecture development for UHF RFID, wearables, or IoT devicesSolid understanding of wireless communication technologies and radio systemsBasic knowledge of UHF measurement techniquesUnderstanding of product development lifecycles and engineering processesExcellent communication, abstraction, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearlyPlease note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks.
