Encourage the reweigh program to employees and provide exceptional service to customers.Primary ResponsibilitiesProcess information through our AS400/SAP system database such as freight measurement and be able to use other software/programs to monitor freightResponsible for all correspondence (both written and verbal), related to the administration of the local Weight and Research programMeasure, reweigh, and verify classifications of freight to ensure correct billing takes placeIncrease revenue for the company and maintain a certain percentage of freight inspected at the service centerVerification and application of correct NMFC classes and freight chargesMaintain a positive image and ensure OD maintains a quality reputationMonitor emails throughout the day and follow up with customer or employeesMake sure employees are aware of the reweigh program and motivate them to meet our goalsStrive for continuous improvement in all areas of service center operationsComprehends and ensures compliance with company and government regulationsAbility to work any shift which will be determine by business needsJob QualificationsEducation:High school diploma or equivalentExperience:Strong operational background and knowledge, preferably in the trucking industryExperience working in a fast-paced environmentProficient with Microsoft OfficeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with rating or inspections preferredWorking Days:Shift and hours to be determined.Working Shift:Shift and hours to be determined.Work Days and Shift are estimates and are subject to change, at any given time, based on job scheduling and/or business levels.
