The Associate Producer must be able to incorporate the unique patient/caregiver experience into the strategies and solutions we provide to our clients.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSBILITIES:The Associate Producer must be able to perform the following essential duties and functions:Responsible for working with lead producers to manage video projects from pre-production through post-productionResponsible for maintaining the high-level production value our clients demand and have come to expectCollaborate with in-house production team of producers, designers, editors, graphic artists, copy writers, and executive producers to create a concept, plan, and execute the productionOwn the on-set product, meaning travel logistics and overall event style managementHire and manage during production vendors, makeup artists, caterers, location scouts, and outside production assistancesTake the lead in developing creative concepts for projectsDetermine the type of materials, supplies, equipment, or tools to be used for productionMaintain budget for production to assure meeting business goalsWork with the account team to determine video needs, create video concepts and proposals, and present video concepts to the account teams and clientsProvide consultation or expert advice to management on current and future productionsResponsible for hiring and managing vendors needed for productionResponsible for conceptualizing, planning, developing, prioritizing, implementing a video production schedule, call sheets, scheduling talent and crew, finding locations, and managing the budgetOversee project during pre-production and post-productionBased on approved creative treatment, work with Producer to write shooting scripts and/or prepare storyboards describing the footage, graphics, music/SFX, narration, and dialogueResponsible for obtaining locations, props, and wardrobeResponsible for negotiating fees/costs/permits for locations on SNOW's behalfMaintain departmental workflow processes and standard operating proceduresResearch content as needed. Conduct pre-interviews with talent-matter experts, executives, or other talent as neededReview footage and work with Producer to edit scripts; provide expert advice on changes neededThe primary job functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, those listedWeekend and Night Work:Although day-to-day work should primarily take place during regular office hours, on some occasions work may be required late into the evening and/or over the weekend. The candidate selected for the Associate Producer position should have the expectation that the workload and nature of the work will require hours that may extend past the business hours of the company (8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Monday–Friday). This includes working on the weekends.Flexibility:The core business hours that you work may change based on business needs. Candidates must understand this and expect that shifts may change from time to time.Collaboration/Teamwork:The size and nature of our company will require that candidates work in collaboration with people in other departments. Candidates must demonstrate their willingness/ability to step into other roles as needed to drive the success of the company. Candidates will need to demonstrate their ability to be a contributing member of a team that has goals that are broader than an individual job description or function.Language Skills/Communication: Candidates must have the ability to read and comprehend general documents relating to the pharmaceutical/bio-technology industry that include, but are not limited to, medical education, medical periodicals, clinical trial data, package inserts, medical procedures, industry regulations, and reimbursement/tax guidelines. Candidates must have the ability to prepare and present business reports and correspondence. Candidates will have demonstrated their ability to effectively and professionally communicate with managers, clients, customers, Ambassadors, and the general public. Working with patients requires candidates to exercise discretion and empathy as patients are living with chronic conditions. Fluency in a foreign language is a plus.Travel: Travel is a fundamental part of the Associate Producer position. Candidates must be able to perform the specific travel and driving requirements of the role. Position requires 15% travel, including internationally.Patient Privacy:The core of our business is working with patients. The Associate Producer most likely will come in contact with Personal Consumer Information (PCI) of patients living with chronic illness.
