As an Experience Design (XD) Design Engineering Intern, you'll work at the intersection of design and technology, helping bring digital experiences to life through thoughtful, user-centered engineering solutions. You'll collaborate with designers, researchers, and developers to create intuitive, engaging experiences that solve real business and customer challenges.Our internship program combines hands-on project experience, technical learning, professional development, mentorship, and networking opportunities designed to accelerate your growth. After onboarding and training, you'll join a project team and contribute to real client work while gaining exposure to modern design engineering practices, emerging technologies, and a variety of industries.What You'll DoDepending on your client engagement and project, your responsibilities may include:Collaborating with designers, researchers, strategists, and engineers to bring digital experiences to lifeBuilding responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web experiencesWorking through project lifecycles from discovery and ideation through deliveryDeveloping front-end solutions using modern web technologies and frameworksApplying web accessibility standards and development best practicesParticipating in stakeholder discussions, workshops, and project meetingsSupporting prototyping, testing, and iterative improvement of digital productsLearning from subject matter experts and incorporating feedback into your workContributing to client-facing presentations, demonstrations, and deliverablesExploring emerging technologies, including AI-enabled user experiences and digital productsWhat Makes This Role UniqueXD Design Engineering consultants sit at the intersection of user experience, design, and technology. Responsibilities
