Agency:Omnicom MediaJob Function:FinanceJob Subfunction: Finance ManagementJob Description:ResponsibilitiesCore responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Lead on all internal and external audits with accurate documentation promptlyPreparation of management accounts, forecasts, and associated reporting into OnestreamPrepare month-end closing; handling accruals, prepayments, deferred Income, Fixed Assets, Foreign exchange, and Journal entriesMonthly ad hoc reporting to Omnicom HQMaintain Sarbanes Oxley policies & controls around GLPrepare monthly revenue by client statements & conduct variance analysis with the Client Finance LeadLead on all internal and external audits with accurate documentation promptlySubmit monthly credit insurance reporting and Cash Flow forecastingCollaborate in developing & implementing accounting policiesResponsibility for intercompany reportingsAssist in identifying trends and areas for process improvement to ensure best practicesCo-operate and communicate with local and regional media and finance teamsDevelop a relationship with Omnicom HQ personnelAbility to step in and cover other accounting tasks when requiredSupport the Finance Director and CFO on various work streams and ad-hoc projectsBe a backup to our Accounts Receivable Billing team membersAbility to step in and cover other accounting tasks when requiredQualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, AICPA/CGMA, or similar preferredStrong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX & experience with financial reportingMinimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience, preferably from a media or marketing agency backgroundStrong Excel skills are a mustConfident yet diplomatic communicatorAttention to detail and technical skills are essential; a strong understanding of double-entry is a mustPrior exposure to Dynamics365 and Media Ocean preferredProactive with “can do” attitude, a problem solver and self-motivated, who is prepared to challenge and create new processes when neededAble to multitask with minimal guidance and work under tight schedulesExtreme attention to detail and highly organizedMust have strong interpersonal skills and be tech-savvy $75,000-$100,000Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, AICPA/CGMA, or similar preferred (degree in accounting)
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX & experience with financial reporting (experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience, preferably from a media or marketing agency background (experience, 3 years)
  • Strong Excel skills are a must (experience)
  • Confident yet diplomatic communicator (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead on all internal and external audits with accurate documentation promptly
  • Preparation of management accounts, forecasts, and associated reporting into Onestream
  • Prepare month-end closing; handling accruals, prepayments, deferred Income, Fixed Assets, Foreign exchange, and Journal entries
  • Monthly ad hoc reporting to Omnicom HQ
  • Maintain Sarbanes Oxley policies & controls around GL
  • Prepare monthly revenue by client statements & conduct variance analysis with the Client Finance Lead
  • Lead on all internal and external audits with accurate documentation promptly
  • Submit monthly credit insurance reporting and Cash Flow forecasting
  • Collaborate in developing & implementing accounting policies
  • Responsibility for intercompany reportings
  • Assist in identifying trends and areas for process improvement to ensure best practices
  • Co-operate and communicate with local and regional media and finance teams
  • Develop a relationship with Omnicom HQ personnel
  • Ability to step in and cover other accounting tasks when required
  • Support the Finance Director and CFO on various work streams and ad-hoc projects
  • Be a backup to our Accounts Receivable Billing team members
  • Ability to step in and cover other accounting tasks when required
