Agency:Omnicom ProductionJob Function:ProductionJob Subfunction: Business AffairsJob Description:OverviewThe Business Affairs Group Lead plays an integral role leading the team during creative development and integrated productions, including broadcast, print, experiential, and digital projects. This person is a team player with a creative mind, an ability to thrive in a fast-paced creative environment, and an extensive understanding of the production process from conception to final delivery.Pay Range is $170,000 to $190,000This is a hybrid role in either our NY, LA, or Chicago office What You'll DoTeam Leadership & OperationsOversee, educate, and mentor a dedicated business affairs pod, providing guidance and support to the teamWork closely with internal brand teams to find solutions to challenges including budgets and production protocolsIdentify and implement processes and structure between the team and internal departments and external partnersScope existing client retainers and projects, and assign team members accordinglyEnsure agency best practices and guidelines are adhered to, including union agreements, employment regulations, and client and Groupe guidelinesCollaborate with agency legal to ensure the production department remains compliant with internal legal protocolsEnsure all industry policies and standardized legal documents are kept up to date and distributed accordinglyImplement internal educational training on business affairs topics such as talent, music, and social media platforms Creative & ProductionPartner with various agency teams to educate on and review creative materials at all stages, advising on talent, third-party rights (copyright, trademark, and rights of publicity), and other advertising regulations and guidelinesReview vendor policies and agreements to ensure alignment with client SOWs and MSAsPartner with legal counsel to perform preliminary trademark searchesAdvise on third-party rights clearance and assessmentsPartner with agency legal on contract challenges, release standardization and updates, templates, and risk assessmentsNegotiate partnership agreements, including celebrity talent, creator, music, and intellectual property dealsAdvise on non-union, SAG-AFTRA, and AFM (where applicable) agreements, including waivers, interpretations, regulations, and best practicesAdvise on the broader production landscape, including crew unions, employment guidelines, and best practices Qualifications8+ years of experience leading full-cycle business affairs on large client brands, with extensive knowledge of the SAG-AFTRA/AFM Commercials Contracts. Strong knowledge of legal guidelines for commercial production, including third-party rights, FTC regulations, and insurance. Extensive experience negotiating contracts involving celebrities, music, and intellectual property. $170,000-$190,000Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Required Qualifications

Responsibilities
