We conduct market research, both qualitative and quantitative, and are exclusive to the pharmaceutical space. Through our work, we help provide insights that bring several new drugs to market to fundamentally impact the lives of patients living with a myriad of conditions, including oncology, neuroscience, immunology, diabetes and others. It is rewarding work and we hope you will consider joining our team!If you’re looking for a company that strives to create a work environment that encourages and compliments you, you’re curious, a critical thinker able to think outside the box, like challenges and are passionate about what you do, we definitely want to speak with you!Your responsibilities as a Qualitative Project Director include:Development of a solid understanding of good research practices and demonstrated ability to serve as a Co-Project Manager and back-up on multiple projects simultaneously.Qualitative Project Directors will begin their tenure with Adelphi Research in qualitative research but will also be exposed to quantitative research. It is expected that a Qualitative Project Director will become proficient in their primary area and gain a basic level of knowledge in the quantitative areaQualitative Research SkillsParticipate in in-house moderator training, writing first drafts of screeners and discussion guides making edits to guides based on project lead and client feedbackConduct telephone/in-person in-depth interviews with supervisionSet up fieldwork, monitor recruiting and quality of recruitingPrepare report appendicesPrepare preliminary analysis of results from in-depth and focus group researchDraft sections of, or entirety of report with direction and at the discretion of the project leadReview audio, videotapes of interviews and notes for verbatims and analysisSecondary Research SkillsConduct review of secondary sources (Internet, publications, associations) for published information on therapy areas and identification of key opinion leaders (KOLs)Provide appropriate/relevant information to assist with disease background knowledge for proposals and project workProject ManagementAcquire and develop skills necessary to perform as a primary (1st) project director on straightforward projectsPrepare for and conduct internal kick-off meetingsClient InteractionInterface with clients under guidance of senior project staff, and demonstrate an ability to understand clients’ business needsWith senior staff, participate in client visits to secure new and repeat businessWhat you need to do the job:Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum of 1 year of experience in market research, knowledge of pharma/biotech industries a plusCreative, innovative and analytical thinker with outstanding communications and organization skillsHighly skilled in Power Point, Word, Excel, and other relevant software.Run analysis using market research softwareWrite first drafts of screeners and questionnaires, make edits to questionnaires, based on project lead and client feedbackParticipate in an in-person pretest sessions, moderate in-person/telephone pretest sessionsUnderstand how to check soft launch data and how to monitor fieldwork through reportalCheck online surveys thoroughly to ensure they are programmed accuratelyUnderstand how to check a data set to ensure logic is being followedProvide direction for report template creation*Provide direction for data file cleaning, run basic tables for output from analysesDraft sections of, or entirety of report with direction and at the discretion of the project leadCheck data in reports for statistical significance, check codes on open-ended questionsPost data, if required, understand how to QC posted dataPresent to ‘friendly audience’ on relatively simple/focused studiesSecondary Research SkillsConduct review of secondary sources (Internet, publications, associations) for published information on therapy areas and identification of key opinion leaders (KOLs)Provide appropriate/relevant information to assist with disease background knowledge for proposals and project workProject ManagementAcquire and develop skills necessary to perform as a primary (1st) project director on straightforward projectsPrepare for and conduct internal kick-off meetingsClient InteractionInterface with clients under guidance of senior project staff, and demonstrate an ability to understand clients’ business needsWith senior staff, participate in client visits to secure new and repeat businessWhat you need to do the job:Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum of 1 year of experience in market research, knowledge of pharma/biotech industries a plusCreative, innovative and analytical thinker with outstanding communications and organization skillsHighly skilled in Power Point, Word, Excel, and other relevant software. $60,000 - $70,000Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
