This includes designing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications. This position will proactively interface with internal customers, project managers and business analysts, and the technical/programming staff to ensure effective definition and the delivery of business applications. This position requires both business hour and off hour support for all deployed software applications and processes.Responsibilities include:Design, develop and deliver quality technical solutions that meet documented requirementsAbility to develop application solutions in an IBMi environment utilizing a mix of; RPG III/IV, RPG Free, SQL, and CLWork closely with Application Development Manager, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and other IT associates to design and develop technical solutionsParticipate in technical design and review sessions with technical and business teams, with a focus on global solutionsFocus on designing and developing integrations using API and EDI formatsAssist in the maintenance of Enterprise Data Warehouse using SQL, database triggers, and a translation toolSetup and configuration of JD Edwards Dream Writers, Data Dictionaries and MenusCreate technical estimates and manage to project designs and budgetsProvides technical support and troubleshooting as needed, including occasional off hours support using BYODDevelop technical documentation to support application development activitiesAdhere to IMS and SOX policies and procedures for compliance to ensure company wide consistent standardsProvide management with regular communication on the progress of projects and other initiativesWho are you?You have at least 5 years of experience as a Senior PA working in a supply chain and ERP environment. Ideally you have JD Edwards World experience with the Financial, EDI and Order to Cash modules. Edwards World Software – with focus on Financials, Order to Cash and EDI modules3+ years working with RESTful API integrationsAdditional Desired Experience:Working knowledge of IT in a distribution environmentKnowledge of software packages used by IMS: Extol, A/R Traffic, Vertex, Aldon, ROBOT, GoAnywhere, RDiKnowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and ETL development using SQLKnowledge of programming using CGI DEV or CGI DEVIIKnowledge of EDI X12 standards and the ability to define mappings and translationsKnowledge of UPS and FedEx meters and interfacesWeb based technologies: RESTful APIs, JSON, XMLProficient with of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook)Education:Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience 120,000- 150,000Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years working in an IBM i (iSeries/AS400) environment (experience, 7 years)

  • 5+ years creating SQL based solutions (experience, 5 years)
  • 5+ years working with J.D. Edwards World Software – with focus on Financials, Order to Cash and EDI modules (experience, 5 years)
  • 3+ years working with RESTful API integrations (experience, 3 years)

Responsibilities
