The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team can provide you the opportunity to build and operate a suite of massive scale, integrated cloud services in a broadly distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment. Our TPMs have a significant business impact crafting and building new systems to power our customers business critical applications. You will work on delivery of various OCI services, including cloud migration service and leading enterprise hybrid cloud service. In this Senior Principal Technical Program Management role, you will be working across a multi-functional team that understands our business and its objectives, to lead us through planning and designing technical solutions to solve the business’s problems in a very agile, fast-paced, and collaborative environment. The position relies heavily on influence rather than authority to drive projects. You will define project scopes, plan and direct schedules while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects. You will independently drive the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. You will collaborate closely with our partners in program and product management to understand our customers and build the right solutions and products that makes their needs and businesses complete. You should possess exceptional problem-solving skills, strong business and technical judgment, and notable experience collaborating in hybrid teams. You are a self-starter technical leader with a shown ability to execute both strategically and tactically, and someone who is excited to take on new projects. You have strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building. You should be customer-focused with a passion for the cloud. You will partner closely with peers, developers, and customers to create solutions, while simultaneously evolving existing capabilities. Job Requirements:Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and Development/Engineering staff at all levels including the executive level.Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle competing demands.Strong technical knowledge and understanding of business need with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence.Experience of software development process models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.Experience with technical design discussions and ability to summarize complex trade-offs and options in presentation and technical documentationAbility to effectively represent engineering perspectives to partner organizations, product teams, and executive leadership.Aptitude to work across and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and or cultures.Work with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain roadmaps, setting appropriate expectations while maintaining standardsThrive and succeed in an innovative and fast-paced environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or conflicting priorities.Work as a lead contributor individually, and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others as needed/requested.Drive other obligations management duties, as needed.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer sciences, software engineering, technology management, business management, or similar.10+ years of experience as hands-on technical program manager; preferably in a related industry.Advanced knowledge of the full life cycle of product development and experience launching and operating customer-facing cloud servicesExperience efficiently and effectively communicating findings/progress to cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and the broader organizations, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment.Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn about new tools, software, and market opportunities quicklyPreferred Qualifications10+ years of program/project management, product design or related experienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field or equivalent work experienceThorough understanding of public cloud infrastructure services, such as Compute, Storage, Identity and NetworkingDemonstrated knowledge of OCI, AWS, Azure or Google IaaS, SaaS and PaaS services.Having DataCenter GPU infrastructure is desirable.
