ResponsibilitiesWorking with developers to design and implement any infrastructure changes needed for new featuresDevelop and maintain IaC with Terraform and other tools to deploy our services to multiple environmentsJenkins pipeline development and maintenance for CI/CDManaging AWS cloud accounts, including IAM, EKS, RDS, and moreSetting up monitoring, logging and observability infrastructure to ensure that our product is working well, we know about issues before our customers, and we can debug those issues in productionDesign and maintain disaster recovery procedures, including on-call processes and incident response, backups and fire drillsParticipate in on-call rotationsWorking with the centralised security team to ensure that our infrastructure is secure, with defence in depth, including triaging security issues and updating versions to fix issuesAid in data-driven performance optimisation and cost reduction effortsQualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience working as a Software Developer, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineer, or similarExperience leading on designing and implementing new infrastructure or substantial changes to existing infrastructureExperience working with AWS, Jenkins, Terraform and Kubernetes (or equivalents)Experience working on continuously deployed services, and with the related tooling: e.g. ArgoCD, Flux, GitOps etc.Strong English communication skillsUses a thorough and methodical approach to tasks and troubleshooting. Ability to dig into a problem unprompted, but recognises when blocked and reaches out to a colleague.Understands the use and limitations of LLMs in an infrastructure environment.
