BACKGROUNDThe utilization of Real-World Data (RWD) is being recognized for its broad applications from drug discovery to post-marketing across various occasions, in the pharmaceutical industry. The Real-World Evidence (RWE) team within Access & Value leads end-to-end evidence generation—from strategy development to study planning and execution, through to publication—to optimize access for Pfizer products across all therapeutic areas. The RWE team has spearheaded numerous initiatives, promoting RWD use across Pfizer’s divisions and leading industry-wide discussions on the subject. We have also emerged as leaders in the field. To accommodate the growing demand for RWD analysis, we expanded our team in early 2023. To continue pioneering RWD utilization in the industry, it is essential to form a highly specialized, high-performing RWE team with a leadership role in managing the RWD/RWE division.ROLE SUMMARYLead the sourcing, planning, interpretation, customization, generation, and dissemination of high-quality RWE promptly.
