Job LocationMADRID GENERAL OFFICEJob DescriptionAs a Car Fleet Operations Intern, you will gain hands-on experience managing key aspects of a corporate vehicle fleet while working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. You will support initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, optimizing costs, enhancing governance, and simplifying fleet management processes.This position offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise in supplier management, cost control, compliance, process optimization, and operational excellence within an evolving business environment. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the day-to-day management of the corporate vehicle fleet, ensuring efficient and compliant operations.Collaborate with suppliers and service providers to monitor performance, maintain service quality, and support contract and commercial discussions.Assist in the analysis and management of fleet-related costs, identifying opportunities for optimization and savings.Support fleet audits and compliance reviews, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.Contribute to process simplification initiatives and continuous improvement projects across fleet operations.Assist in the creation, review, and maintenance of fleet policies, procedures, and operational documentation.Support the management and resolution of traffic fines and administrative vehicle-related processes.Analyze fleet data and prepare reports, dashboards, and recommendations to support decision-making.Partner with internal stakeholders to provide efficient fleet-related support and ensure a positive employee experience.Leverage digital tools, automation, and data analytics to drive efficiency and improve fleet management processes. Bachelor or Master degree is valuable, but not mandatory.Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Interest in fleet operations, supplier management, process improvement, and cost optimization.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Demonstrated accountability, integrity, and a proactive mindset.Proficiency in both Spanish and English language.Valid driver’s license.Internship agreement covering at least 6 months*. *If your current educational institution is unable to provide an internship agreement, you will need to enroll in an extracurricular course that allows you to obtain an internship agreement.
