The Procurement Operations Department is responsible for the overall procurement operations of the Rakuten Group.Position:Why We HireAs we work to standardize procurement processes across the entire Rakuten Group, there is a need for the strategic and efficient design and development of a procurement system. Accordingly, we are seeking individuals to join our ongoing project to implement a new procurement system and take the lead in driving the project forward.Position Details Procurement System Maintenance- Initial response to system errors and coordination with the development team.New Procurement System Project Management- Managing project progress and resolving issues related to the new system implementation.- Defining and executing data integration strategies between legacy and new systems.- Providing post-implementation support and handling user inquiries.- Reporting on operational status and driving continuous improvement initiatives post-launch.Work EnvironmentThe entire organization has a size of nearly 80 employees, and the department you are expected to be assigned to has approximately 30 employees.*Due to the expansion of operations, we are also promoting the use of external contractors, so the department as a whole is expected to grow further.Mandatory Qualifications:- At least three years of professional work experience.- Experience in system implementation, management, or operations.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Business level English proficiency.Desired Qualifications:- Work experience in a procurement-related department.- Experience in implementing procurement SaaS systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa).- Experience leading mid-sized projects.Other Information:Additional information on LocationRakuten Crimson House *As designated by the company#corporate #procurement #OperationalImprovement #operationdivLanguages:English (Overall - 3 - Advanced), Japanese (Overall - 4 - Fluent)
