We act as a specialized task force for project management and business problem-solving. In collaboration with each business head, we focus on business management and strategic planning, supporting the resolution of strategic issues and the development of new initiatives for each business unit.Position:Why We HireWe are currently expanding our support for each business within the Life & Booking domain, focusing on strategic assistance and project execution. Due to increasing demand for our support, we are looking for new team members to join us. This is a significant challenge aimed at driving further growth for our services and contributing to the advancement of the entire industry alongside our clients. We are in a phase where we are proactively tackling major challenges, such as inflation and the rising demand from inbound tourism, and we are looking for individuals who are eager to take on these challenges with us.・You will be involved in the booking sector, which continues to show significant growth within the Commerce & Marketing division.・As a small, elite team, individuals have significant discretion, allowing you to be involved in decision-making with a sense of speed.・We foster an environment where motivated individuals are actively promoted, regardless of their tenure or years of experience.・You will have the opportunity to engage in everything from strategic planning to execution and problem-solving at the core of each business.Position DetailsIn this position, you will be assigned to work on a project-by-project basis.・Project Management (PM/PMO tasks)・Business Promotion Support (Data visualization and information organization using BI tools and AI)・Support for organizational infrastructure development (e.g., management accounting, development project administration)・Project support for businesses under the Life & Booking domainExamples: Strategic planning projects, online payment integration projects, and project management office (PMO) operations for development initiatives.Work Environment・1 Senior Manager and 2 members.・Age Range: 20s to 30s.・Background: 100% new grads.・Planning professional from the internet industry・Hired with a management track in mind; currently leading key projects.Mandatory Qualifications:・5+ years of professional experience in business・Basic PC skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointDesired Qualifications:Experience in consulting and project management within strategic domains.Experience in business planning and strategy formulation at an operating company.(Preferred) Bookkeeping(Preferred) Skills in building dashboards using DOMO or TableauOther Information:Additional information on LocationRakuten Crimson House1-14-1 Tamagawa, Setagaya-ku, TokyoAdditional information on English QualificationTOEIC Score exceeding 800 (or similar level of English ability) or a University Degree earned in an English-speaking country.Proof of qualifications will be required by the time of the job offer.If no evidence is available to prove the qualifications denoted above, taking an IP test, organized by Rakuten, during selection process is required.Rakuten Group, Inc.
