Within TPD, the Cloud Platform Supervisory Department (CPSD) develops and manages Rakuten's state-of-the-art cloud platform, empowering global scalability and accelerating innovation across its diverse business units. Department OverviewThe Cloud Platform Enablement Department (CPED) drives Rakuten Group's global infrastructure strategy by building and operating a robust private cloud platform and supporting public cloud environments. We empower application engineers to buildreliable and scalable systems while ensuring unified support and consistent quality across all departments. Position: Why We Hire We are planning to strengthen our structure and increase the number of senior engineers as leader candidates for system expansion. We are looking for colleagues to join us in building systems that are directly involved in the mobile business, which is a key focus for Rakuten. Position Details Infrastructure development, management, and operation tasks for systems used by Rakuten Mobile store staff and partner companies: - Continuous performance tuning and capacity planning - Efficiency improvements through automation - System failure response - Collaboration with stakeholders - Evaluation of new technologies and planning/execution for departmental implementation Work Environment We primarily use the on-premises internal cloud environment.
