This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.When & where:Location: Troy, New York, United StatesWork model: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pmDiscover your role:Ensure reliable operation of IT/OT infrastructure including servers, hardware, communications, desktop support, and wireless networks; provide operational oversight for data centre operations, network services, telecom, and asset managementDefine, implement, and lead IT/OT infrastructure architecture with a focus on hyper-converged systems, advanced networking, and wireless technologies to ensure robust connectivity and security across industrial and enterprise environmentsMaintain compliance with GxP, FDA, and global regulatory requirements; ensure data integrity, disaster recovery planning, and robust security measures are in place across IT/OT infrastructureMaintain compliance with automation system standards including DeltaV/Emerson and Rockwell/Allen-Bradley; ensure systems and procedures support effective monitoring and reportingManage service providers to ensure high-quality delivery aligned to SLAs; act as escalation point for major incidents and provide regular management reporting on service performance and IT operationsCollaborate with corporate IT and OT partners to ensure seamless system integration and alignment across the enterpriseLead, mentor, and develop a diverse technical team spanning Helpdesk, Desktop, Server, and Network functions; oversee recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and goal setting for the IT Operations teamDrive implementation and continuous improvement of ITIL practices, SLAs, metrics, and operational best practices across the IT Operations functionDemonstrated experience managing diverse technical teams including Helpdesk, Desktop, Server, and Network staff; experience managing vendors and managed service providers requiredExperience developing and deploying SLAs, metrics, and operational best practices; proven track record implementing ITIL practices within an organizationStrong background in Microsoft OS including Server and GPO elements; strong understanding of data integrity and associated toolsExperience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning requiredKnowledge of IT compliance guidelines including PIC/S, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, and GAMP preferredThis role requires:BS/BA in Information Technology or a related fieldSenior Manager: 8+ years of progressively more responsible experience, including 8+ years of management experience and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an FDA or similarly regulated environmentAssociate Director: 10 years of progressively more responsible experience, including 10 years of management experience and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an FDA or similarly regulated environmentMay consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
