Calibration Technicians support our manufacturing operations by performing mechanical, electrical, calibration, electronic, and utility-related tasks. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.When & where:Location: East Greenbush, NYWorking shift: Monday-Friday 10:00pm-6:30amTraining shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm for approximately 6 monthsDiscover your role:Calibrate various types of instrumentation including temperature, pressure, level, flow, and analytical instrumentsPerform loop check, tune, troubleshoot, and start-up of instrumentationWork with medium and low voltagesPerform basic plumbing and tube bending jobsAssist the Facilities Management-Maintenance (FM-M) process and Clean Utility technicians in troubleshooting facilities and process related issuesPerform daily Work Orders (WO) and Preventative Maintenance (PM), and efficiently coordinating the workflow and documentation of PMs and WOsCommunicate and coordinate with each department and within Facilities Management when planned and unplanned work events occurPlan and schedule outside contractors/vendors to perform scheduled and/or non-scheduled PM or general work, as neededParticipate in compliance investigations if and when necessaryThis role requires:AAS degree, preferably in an Engineering or Construction Technologies related area and the following minimum years of related experience: 2+ years or HSD/GED and 5+ years for Calibration Technician II, 5+ years or HSD/GED and 8+ years for Calibration Technician III, 8+ years or HSD/GED and 11+ years for Calibration Technician IVDemonstrated basic problem-solving skillsAbility to learn and follow routine procedures independently as well as part of a teamThe ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbsParticipating in a rotating on-call scheduleStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain effective time management skills to allow deadlines to be met in a timely mannerKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and overall comfort and general familiarity with computer systemsGowning and Environment:Full cleanroom attire (Examples may include: including laundered undergarments, gown, facemask, hairnet, safety glasses, safety shoes and booties, latex gloves and the use of sanitizing agents during gowning process including IPA)Ability to remove jewelry, make-up and nail adornments when wearing cleanroom attireLevel will be determined based on qualifications relevant to the roleDoes this sound like you?
