We are seeking to fill an External Manufacturing (EM) Data Analyst role to turn complex data into the insights that keep life-changing medicines moving efficiently from our manufacturing partners to the patients who need them. As part of our newly formed EM Center of Excellence, you’ll dig into real business problems, build the dashboards and analyses leadership relies on, and help shape how the EM network runs. This is a role for someone who thrives on turning ambiguity into clarity — and wants their work to matter.When & where:Location: East Greenbush, New York, United StatesWork schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pmDiscover your role:Partner with business leaders and collaborators to gather requirements, document processes, and find opportunities for new business capabilities and process improvementsDevelop and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) that give leadership clear, real-time awareness of EM performanceAnalyze capacity, performance, and other operational data to support Planning/Scheduling and drive EM strategy, process simplification, and standardization initiativesConduct root-cause and A3 problem-solving analysis, leading Continuous Improvement and Kaizen events (Process Mapping, Direct Observation, etc.) across the EM organizationMonitor and analyze metrics to identify gaps in current processes, improve service levels to internal and external customers, reduce waste, and improve value chain efficiencySupport implementation projects end-to-end, including requirements gathering, application and process design, testing, validation, and end-user knowledge transferEvaluate industry and market trends to identify new business solutions, and review opportunities to develop new products, technologies, and business modelsRespond to ad hoc data analysis requests from across EM, and assist in developing presentations and EM strategy updatesLeverage AI to optimize processes and create efficiencies for workflowsThis role requires:BS/BA in business, data science, information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, for each level:Specialist - 2+ yearsSenior Specialist – 5+ yearsLevel will be determined based on experiencePrevious experience in product management/project management/ and/or project leadership related activities is preferredA natural problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, prioritizing competing demands and hitting tight deadlines without sacrificing accuracyQuickly learn new business processes and ask the right questions to close knowledge gaps, applying that understanding to guide your analysisTranslate ambiguous business questions into clear data requirements — knowing what data to pull, how to structure the analysis, and how to communicate the findingsSolid understanding of writing SQL to query relational databases; experience with programming languages such as Python is a plusExpert in Excel and Business Intelligence tools (Tableau and Power BI); familiarity with IT project management tools is a plusStrong situational analysis, decision-making, and process/operations improvement skills, with the ability to work independently against key timelinesExceptional interpersonal and communication skills — written, verbal, and visual — with the confidence to present findings to senior leadership, influence decisions, and drive consensus across the organizationDoes this sound like you?
