Job Description

Join Regeneron's Corporate Accounting team as a Staff Accountant with high visibility across Product Revenue and general ledger accounting. This role owns core close-process responsibilities — journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis — and works directly with Accounting, Finance, Commercial, and Trade on GAAP-based accounting for the business.We are looking for a Staff Accountant who is a collaborative team member, communicates effectively with colleagues, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is eager to take on challenges and contribute to Regeneron's growth.Discover your role:Perform Product Revenue accounting activities, including journal entries for sales, gross to net deductions, and receivables; balance sheet reconciliations; and detailed trend analysis of product sales related deductionsOwn preparation and analysis of Corporate Accounting schedules and balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned areas ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely resolution of reconciling itemsPartner with Finance to ensure completeness and accuracy of accruals and reclassesParticipate in the Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials ERP implementation and ongoing optimization efforts, including user acceptance testing (UAT), process design activities, updates to process documentation, and identification of automation opportunitiesSupport accounting transformation and process improvement initiatives by leveraging technology, automation, and data analytics to improve reporting and operational efficiencyAnalyze financial results, investigate period-over-period fluctuations, and prepare meaningful variance explanations for ManagementMaintain knowledge of and compliance with Company accounting policies and internal controlsEnsure compliance with the Company’s Prepaid Expense Accounting Policy and other relevant accounting policiesSupport compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements, including maintaining documentation and supporting control execution and assist with internal and external audit requestsAssist with special projects, financial analyses, and continuous improvement initiativesThis Role May Be for You If You:Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or active pursuit of CPA licensure is preferred.Have 1-3 years of general ledger accounting, audit, or corporate accounting experience within public accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm) and/or publicly traded company environment are considered strong assets.Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and large datasets is preferred. Experience with Oracle GL, Oracle Fusion, SmartView, Hubble, or similar reporting tools is a plus.Are a team player who collaborates effectively, thinks independently, and proactively proposes solutions with a continuous improvement mindsetHave a solid grasp of GAAP and enjoy applying it to real operational challengesAre analytical and comfortable working with large data sets to reach sound accounting conclusionsBring strong organizational skills and attention to detailCan operate in a fast‑paced environment and comfortably manage multiple prioritiesHave strong written and verbal communication skillsEnjoy partnering with cross-functional teams and learning how accounting supports business decision-makingHave an interest in leveraging technology, automation, and data analytics to improve accounting processesAre seeking opportunities for professional growth, expanded responsibilities, and career progression within Finance and AccountingDoes this sound like you?
