Perform cost analysis and volume planning. Monitor the cost, schedule, and scope of assigned purchase requisitions to assure quality and on-time delivery at the best value.You will report to the PCA Team Lead.You will work in Onsite work mode based in our Chennai plant in Kancheepuram, India.Your Responsibilities:PO ManagementResponsible for parts setup in SAP including pricing update, source list update, lot size, lead time.Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing and sourcing departments to acquire supply.Procure materials, components, equipment and services following our needs.Monitor the cost, delivery schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure highest quality at best value.Collaborate with suppliers and team members (Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing, Planning, and Delivery) to deal with PO related issues.Maintain Accounts Payable PO price exception report and resolve invoicing discrepancies following company policy and system requirements.Monitor and process PO cancellations and holds.Supplier ManagementTrouble shooting with suppliers on-time delivery on priority.Work with suppliers and several departments regarding procurement Policy & ProceduresMonitor suppliers overall performance and facilitate supplier review (Not limited to Quarterly Business Review) to guide supplier performance improvement.Continuous ImprovementsSupport improvement tasks/projects to make breakthrough in supply management.Identify purchasing best practices and guide these best practices into the Rockwell strategic sourcing toolkit.Implement Lean Supply Chain (Consignment/VMI)Familiarity with Company Procedures.Apply procedures in compliance with government laws.Procedures include Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, and Control Environment. They also include Information Protection, ISO 9000 and 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental), and functional policies published on the Rockwell Automation information network.Manage supplier performance in quality, on time delivery, inventory development and implement cost avoidance productivity.Improve successful execution of new projects across different teams and countries by fulfilling individual responsibilities related to the effort while obtaining valuable contributions from others.Knowledge of the marketplace conditions for a broad range of commodities including technology trend, supply and demand dynamics, supplier analysis, pricing and development including benchmarking.The Essentials - You Will Have:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.6 + years of procurement responsibilities having manufacturing plant working experience. (Electrical Industry preferred).Track record in productivity contribution and process optimization. Lean knowledge.Data analysis experienceHave advanced expertise in SAP, ExcelYou require procurement experience within India to have sourcing exposure.Travel : up to 25% (domestic India)The ability to collaborate with, learn from colleagues in a complex, global organisation.FunctionalHave experience on procurement (e.g., supply chain, contract, supplier management, operation)Perform cost analysis and volume planning.Manage current procurement procedure execution while also identifying process improvements.Identify cause corrective actions for issues.
