Are you interested in working in an international environment and supporting a dynamic engineering team? If you're available for 20 hours per week, we're looking for you!As an Embedded Software Intern, you will be part of a collaborative and experienced engineering team. You'll work with specialists who value innovation, teamwork, and continuous learning. This paid internship offers a chance to develop practical skills in C/C++ programming, networking standards, and embedded systems.We offer you flexible working hours with a hybrid work model based in Katowice, Poland. Internship starts in October.You will report to the Manager, Embedded Software.Your Responsibilities:Learn and support programming in C/C++ within Unix/Linux environments.Help implement network standards, especially in industrial automation.Participate in team activities, including daily project meetings.Support analysis and troubleshooting of technical issues under the guidance of experienced engineers.Prepare simple scripts or helper tools to support integration and automation processes (after training).The Essentials – You Will Have:Fundamentals of C/C++ programmingBasic knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systemsLanguage skills: good English (spoken and written, B2)Legal work and stay permits in PolandStudent status (for at least 6 months)Interest in building a long-term career with the companyUnderstanding of basic concepts in industrial automation and embedded systems.Basic knowledge of network protocols and their application in automation.The Preferred – You Might Also Have:Academic experience or personal projects in C/C++ programming.Familiarity with Agile/Safe methodologies.What We Offer:Our benefits package includes …On-demand digital course library for professional development... and other local benefits!At Rockwell Automation we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
