And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for responding to manufacturing problems by investigating and resolving such problems to assure a continuing flow of production. Complete process ownership for all aspects of assigned manufacturing processes including managing projects proficiently, efficiently, and with full accountability for project results.This position is also responsible for process improvement efforts, including identifying core value-adding processes and maximizing their performance and productivity while integrating and streamlining processes throughout the supply chain and ensuring adoption of best practices. Providing continuing product engineering through the initiation of improvements in systems and procedures. Collaborates cross-functionally to improve performance and quality. May also assist in the introduction of new products, providing input on tooling, documentation, and manufacturability.This work requires attention to detail and taking actions with minimal direction which may encompass but not be limited to the following:Develop, standardize, implement, maintain, and govern manufacturing processes across the manufacturing plantProvide recommendations, requirements, and justifications to support investigation and evaluation of new manufacturing technologiesAssist with the implementation of IT security and business productivity initiatives in the manufacturing plantProvide design input and execution support for the development and deployment of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and information management systems in the plantsParticipate in new product and process design reviews for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Continuation Engineering projectsParticipate in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design For Assembly (DFA), Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) analysesParticipate in projects that will enable the plant to meet annual productivity goals and reduce/eliminate safety and ergonomic risk in the manufacturing work environmentSupport justification for capital requests.
