Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped. Post weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages pulling parts from inventory and delivery them for assembly production.SCHEDULE: This position is for the 2nd shift, working Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-1:00am. You will report to the Inventory control supervisor.Your Responsibilities:Perform material handling functions, including kitting, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory stocking, and SAP transactions.Prepare, pack, and ship customer orders while ensuring accuracy of shipping and receiving documentation.Manage inventory through stock put-away, shelf organisation, FIFO practices, and delivery of materials to production and other departments.Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely while following quality, safety, and company procedures.Collaborate with planners, engineers, and team members to support production needs, continuous improvement programmes, training activities, and operations.SKILLS:We prefer a Valid Lift Truck Licence. The candidate bases this preference on minimum experience with Tow Motor - Reach Truck Operations, Powered Pump Trucks, and BT Basket.
