You will be required to install, conduct tests, troubleshoot, repair and maintain gas turbine engines used in aerospace, marine, and power generation products. This position performs engine performance testing, data collection, and diagnostic evaluations to verify engine airworthiness, performance specifications, and operational readiness while maintaining a strict adherence to safety, quality and regulatory requirements.What you will be doing:Completing basic inspection tasksinstall, conduct tests, troubleshoot, repair and maintain gas turbine engines used in aerospace, marine, and power generation products.Maintaining test facilitiesMaintaining electrical systems, lubrication systems, ignition and starting systems.Lifting of medium-to-heavy equipmentWorking around moving machinery, flammable fluids, high pressures and temperatures.May be required to work from a raised platform.Basic housekeeping dutiesMust be proficient with the use of computers.Basic Qualifications:High School Diploma with 1+ year experience of mechanical experience in the aerospace or automotive industryFAA Power Plant LicenseAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and engineering drawings.Basic computer skills and experience.Proficiency with hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment.In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US CitizenPreferred QualificationsA thorough knowledge of shop math and willingness to learn and apply new skillsAbility to travel when necessary to support actions in the fieldPlease note: This is a Union hourly position, and the work schedule is 9/80.Our vision is to ensure that the quality and dynamism that shaped our history continues into our future.
