Job DescriptionWhy join Rolls-Royce?At Rolls-Royce we are proud to be a business that has truly helped to shape the modern world and are committed to always being a force for progress; powering, protecting and connecting people everywhere.By joining Rolls-Royce, you'll have the opportunity to work on world-class solutions, supported by a culture that believes individuality is our greatest strength, and all perspectives, experiences and backgrounds help us innovate and enable our high-performance culture.Responsibilities - Provides technical support and advice on engine spares requirement with regard to customers’ enquiries and orders- Creation and maintenance of Material Master, Parts Supersession, BOM and other relevant system data- Building up of maintenance sets and provisioning parts for after sales enquiries and system modifications as well as new engine sales- Building up of engine and system data base for overall efficiency of parts verification- Renders technical assistance and advice to warehouse regarding acceptance of incoming parts as well as returned parts from customers- Advice on usability of stored parts when requested- Technical assessment of warranty claims and discrepancies arising from parts supply- Provide assistance to warehouse and customers on parts identification- Recommend items to be inventorised based on technical information, campaigns and feedbacks from field - Leads and guides junior executives in handling technical enquiries and project requirements- Updates records/catalogues affected by technical modification of engines and systems- Reviews relevant KPIs regularly and takes corrective actions if necessary- Special assignment from time to timeBasic and preferred qualificationsDegree / Diploma in Marine/Mechanical Engineering3 years’ working experience in Degree in electrical and electronicsWorking knowledge/experience in interpreting engineering drawings and part cataloguingProficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge in operating SAP – MM preferredPower Systems is the Rolls-Royce business which provides world-class power solutions and complete life-cycle support under our product and solution brand mtu.
