Demonstrating advanced technical theories, methodologies, principles and expertise to provide innovative solutions to the current phase of the project, you will be alert to cost and schedule constraints. You will be allocated to a project and carry out allocated tasks within the project. All work must adhere to the processes, budgets and timetables assigned to the allocated tasks, as directed by the project plans.In return, we will support you with access to best practice tools, systems and processes while continually investing in your growth by providing tailored learning and development opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the technical interface between the customer, management and the implementation team, conduct systems analysis to derive function, performance and interface requirements to meet electrical safety parameters.Engage with System Design activities (including trade studies) to ensure that the design artefacts are compatible with the baselined product; consistent across all subsystems, delivering system design to meet performance requirements.Perform technical risk analysis as required in your work as the electrical engineer to support development and review of hazard logs, safety case arguments and risk mitigation actions.Ensure assigned electrical systems/sub-systems are developed and implemented according to appropriate standards and procedures.Collaborating with internal and external stakeholder; securing Raytheon’s reputation as a trusted partner in delivering systems integration and mission support solutions to our customers.Skills, Experience and QualificationsTertiary Qualification in relevant engineering discipline, and professional development sufficient to attain recognition as CPEng with Engineers Australia in a relevant engineering stream, including ability to attain RPEQ recognition.Experience in an Engineering discipline including involvement in one or more of the following Engineering practices - Requirements Definition, Management, Analysis, Design and Verification and Validation.Experience in effectively representing Engineering professional services to both internal and external customers.Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience (when a University Degree is held).Practical to substantial knowledge of projects, programs, or systems relevant to the business with the ability to make enhancements and leverage knowledge in daily work.Experience in product configuration control.This position may require availability to travel when required.Eligible to obtain and maintain a NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
