RX inspectors may unload trucks shipment arrives at shipping dock in boxes, crates, bins etc. Parts are identified by Purchase Order (PO) and barcode system and stored in a designated location in RX. The RX Inspector receives part by verifying part is the correctly listed on shipping documents; verifying identifying numbers (part and serial), completing visual inspection. RX Inspector uses computers to access programs such as SAP, Microsoft Outlook, and other program in the Pratt and Whitney network. Communicates in writing/verbally concerns with supplier conformance. RX Inspector observes the condition of received hardware and documents their technical observations on paper.
