The position is based at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. This is a Mission Essential (ME) position and the individual selected must be qualified to support operations under a variety of conditions and impending or active hostilities. In addition, the position supports a USAF worldwide deployable program so the individual selected must be able and ready to deploy anywhere in the world at a moment’s notice.The position provides technical and engineering support to the PCPAD process, involves comprehensive analysis, diagnostics, and fault isolation for the sensor, ground components and end-to-end network. In addition, the position assists with mission planning (NAV, collection), system/mission readiness, and mission setup based on associated sensor/sensor kit and any sensor limiting factors currently required.
