Raytheon Hardware Engineering provides Hardware Design and Analysis, Materials and Process Engineering, Producibility and Prototyping, Product Integrity, and Test Equipment Development services for the Land, Air, Space, Naval, and Advanced Technology products designed, developed, produced and serviced at Raytheon. We use state-of-the-art tools, processes, and technologies, with capabilities encompassing a broad range of technical disciplines including electrical, mechanical, materials, aerospace, and manufacturing engineering.This role is for a Lab Lead to support Columbia, MD Hardware Engineering Labs. In this role, you will manage and implement engineering lab strategic projects and day-to-day administrative functions within multiple engineering labs, with specific focus on safety, security, and compliance using established doctrine and governance. You will be creative and innovative, possessing strong organizational, coordination, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills. In this position, you must be able to collaborate with customers, employees, and senior leaders when implementing process and procedural changes.This position is an onsite role in Columbia, MD. The position will be covering multiple labs across the site.What You Will DoLab Operating Procedure (LOP) Management; provide direction for lab users on established policiesManagement coordination and implementation of Environmental Health Safety and SustainmentProperty & Metrology Management including maintenance of equipment service contracts and ongoing equipment repairsPerform cost analysis, ensure task completion within approved budgetsPerform lab purchase requests through SAP, SRM, and Vallen, while providing process support to Supply Chain Management (SCM)Oversee audit/assessment preparation. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
