If so, Collins Aerospace has exciting new opportunities for Operations Product Managers to join our team onsite in Kilkeel, Northern Ireland.These are highly visible roles at the heart of our operations, connecting Program Management, Operations and the wider business to support the successful delivery of customer commitments across assigned products and product portfolios.What You Will DoAs an Operations Product Manager, you will coordinate the operational delivery of an assigned product or product portfolio, acting as a key link between Program Management and the factory. You will translate customer, program and business requirements into executable manufacturing plans, align demand with factory capability, identify operational risks and coordinate cross-functional actions to support successful delivery.You will:Coordinate operational delivery across assigned products and product portfolios.Translate customer, program and business requirements into executable manufacturing and operational plans.Align demand, production schedules and factory capability to support product and customer delivery commitments.Work across Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Planning and Program Management to resolve issues and drive delivery.Identify operational, capacity, material and supply chain risks early and coordinate appropriate mitigation and recovery actions.Provide clear, fact-based visibility of operational performance, risks and readiness to program and business leadership.Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and transition-to-production activities, ensuring operational readiness for new and changing product requirements.Balance customer and program priorities with capacity constraints, material availability and engineering changes.Constructively challenge assumptions and recovery plans, using data to support recommendations and decisions.Drive agreed actions through to resolution, ensuring owners and timelines are clearly defined.Support customer-facing discussions relating to operational commitments, risks and recovery plans.What You Will LearnThis role offers broad exposure across the business and an opportunity to develop beyond traditional manufacturing or operations roles.You will gain experience in:How customer and program requirements translate into manufacturing and operational planning and execution.Product and program management and business decision-making.Working across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance and senior leadership.Identifying and managing operational risks and supporting recovery activities.Balancing customer priorities with factory capacity, resources and business requirements.Influencing across a matrix organisation.New Product Introduction and operational readiness.Essential ExperienceA minimum of 2 years’ experience in a comparable professional roleORHold, or be working towards, a Third Level Education in a relevant discipline, combined with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experienceIn addition, candidates must have:Experience working across different teams and functions to deliver outcomes.Experience identifying problems or risks and driving actions through to resolution.Experience communicating with and influencing a range of stakeholders.Desirable ExperienceNew Product Introduction (NPI) or transition to production.SIOP.An understanding of production planning, capacity management and/or Master Production Scheduling (MPS).The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex and changing environment.Product, program, manufacturing or cross-functional operational management experience.Commercial awareness and experience balancing customer, program and operational priorities.What We OfferWe are committed to providing an industry-leading benefits package.
