As the Process Technician – Painter/Masker/Sealant, you will be involved in the preparation and the spray application of primer along with topcoat, and sealant on aircraft components machined on site.Work Location: Oakville Facility, Ontario – CanadaShift Hours – Weekday Night (Monday-Thursday) 8:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.What You Will DoPart loading, fixturing and unloading.Painting, cleaning, attaching fixtures and demasking.Masking, sanding, cleaning, demasking, cleaning, final paint touch-ups and ink stamping.Mix and apply sealant to bushings, parts and detail components, flight controls, etcBooth and equipment maintenancePerform work from set-up sheets, manufacturing sheets and drawings.Document actions in support of quality logs, communicate all discrepancies to supervision and create Product Defect Sheets (PDS) as required.Support and promote continuous improvement, 5S activities and Standard WorkDevelopment in the cell.Participation in cross-functional training in related processes as required.Multi-task in the cell and perform other duties as assigned including TPM and machine checklistQualifications We RequireTypically; High school diploma, and a minimum of 2 years of current painting or sealant experienceExperience in material handling and crane/hoist operations.The selected candidate has to be eligible to work in Canada; successful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGPQualifications We PreferExcellent teamwork skills with the ability to work either independently or collaborativelyAbility to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environmentDemonstrated ability to operate and use an overhead crane in a safe mannerOur Advanced Structures team leverages advanced materials and additive manufacturing to develop complex interior and exterior solutions.
