Raytheon is hiring a Semiconductor Equipment Engineer 1st shift (6:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Thursday, plus every other Friday off) on a 9/80 schedule. This role is responsible for supporting the lead equipment engineer in maintaining Die Visual and Singulate equipment tool sets including but not limited to saws, automated defect systems, metrology tools, etc.You will maintain troubleshoot, and repair a variety of semiconductor processing equipment, including electrical, electro‑mechanical, and gas systems typical of semiconductor manufacturing operations. Over time, responsibilities will expand to include additional equipment sets.What You Will DoDiagnosing equipment issues using experience, system knowledge, and technical manuals.Triage and repair equipment based on priority and operational needs.Support the Emergency Response Team (ERT) as needed.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and/or repairing manufacturing equipment.Qualifications We Prefer Familiar with SEMI 10 semiconductor standardsRead and understand equipment manuals and schematics.Have a fundamental knowledge of SPC controls with the ability to implement SPC control plans on existing equipment and new equipment installations.Able to document work and provide detailed pass down.Ability to pull and analyze tool date.Experience with predictive maintenance and SPC controls using FDC software.Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and support a dynamic production setting.Proficient use of MS Office products. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
