The team supports a variety of Engineering Tools (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, and Software) used in Unclassified and Classified Environments.This person will be a key team member helping the organization deliver service excellence around the following activities: interfacing with program personnel and programs’ engineering and DT teams; coordinating resources to provide appropriate tool related services; helping users on programs effectively use tools; troubleshooting tool related problems; and tailoring tools to specific program needs. The ideal candidate has a passion for the challenge of learning new engineering tools and technologies.What You Will Do:Engage and consult with engineers on the implementation of engineering software solutions; assist programs in the use of and adoption of solutions and emerging technologiesManage installations and upgrades of engineering toolsDeploy engineering applications. This includes software installations, configurations, integrations and user acceptance of the applicationsProvide general user support for engineering toolsSet and manage customer expectations while ensuring priorities are optimally metFunction as part of the virtual Support Service & Maintenance support teamSupport multiple customers and work within specific schedule and cost constraintsQualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.Experience supporting tools for engineering disciplines (Software, System, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) such as (but not limited to) DevOPS Tools (Atlassian Suite, Jenkins, Coverity, Artifactory), Matlab, DOORs, Cameo, Creo, Vivado, Ansys, LabView)Experience troubleshooting and solving complex engineering tool problems in a Windows, Unix, and/or Linux environmentExperience applying principles and processes of software developmentMust be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
