Our world-class products include MEMS-based Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) and the TERPROM® Digital Terrain Reference Navigation System.Our growth plan includes development and extension of our current technologies into state of the art military and civil aircraft applications and we’re looking for exceptional engineers to join us on that journey.What You Will DoAs a Systems Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing, integrating, and validating complex embedded systems. Working across hardware, software, and mechanical domains, you’ll contribute to projects from concept through to delivery, helping ensure our systems perform flawlessly in the most demanding environments.Your day-to- day will include:Working with our customers and key stakeholders to understand and capture the system level use cases, concept of operations and requirements.Development of the system architecture.Interfacing with stakeholders across Systems, Software, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering and developing requirement specifications for each component of the system.Supporting system integration for real-time embedded systems, including hardware/software interfacesEnsuring requirement-to-requirement and requirements-to-test traceability throughout the designDeveloping test cases and procedures against the requirements and executing testsApplying logical and innovative problem-solving across software, hardware, and system levelsProviding inputs to project planning, estimations and progress reportingWhat You Will Learn:At Collins Aerospace, your career development is as important as our technical innovation.
