Develop a carrier coverage strategy and have full autonomy for supporting a customer's truckload & LTL coverage needs. Directly engage with Account Executives, Shipment Management Associates (SMA) and Business Development Managers as needed to build a network of service providers that allows them the ability to foster an effective carrier network to support any and all freight transportation needs that a customer desires.Essential FunctionsTender accept/reject loads, creates loads, sets appointments, dispatches, tracks and traces loads, root cause problem solves issues, and resolves/communicates to carrier and/or customer as appropriateIdentifies and Develops relationships with transportation providers to ensure adequate coverage to maximize penetration of customer freight portfolio through soliciting capacityIdentifies and Develops relationships with transportation providers to ensure adequate coverage to maximize penetration of customer freight portfolio through soliciting capacityManage day-to-day planning and scheduling of coverage for loads to ensure proper all customer's needs are met in the agreed upon time periodAdditional ResponsibilitiesContinuous improvement in all segments of the businessSchedules and dispatches while ensuring compliance of Federal, State, and Local regulations.
