Come innovate with us!Position SummaryThe Compliance Case Manager will lead the owner‑organization’s finance‑focused compliance program for a large semiconductor manufacturing campus. The role owns the end‑to‑end lifecycle of federal and state-funded finance compliance cases from identification, documentation, assignment, investigation, corrective action, escalation, resolution, to final close‑out. Serving as the hub for Finance, Legal, Procurement, Contracts, Project Controls, Construction Management, and external auditors, the manager ensures that every finance‑related compliance issue is properly assigned, tracked, substantiated with evidence, and formally closed in accordance with applicable statutes, regulations, and funding agreements.Role and ResponsibilitiesHere’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:Compliance Case Management - Create and maintain a centralized finance‑compliance case system that logs, classifies, prioritizes, assigns, and tracks cases linked to federal/state funding requirements. Define severity levels and escalation thresholds that reflect financial risk. Monitor case aging, overdue corrective actions, and generate trend analyses on recurring funding‑compliance issues..Federal, State, and Local Compliance - Maintain awareness of changes to compliance requirements and ensure affected cases are appropriately updated, thereby supporting administrative and contractual obligations, workforce requirements, Davis‑Bacon requirements where applicable, contractor/subcontractor requirements, reporting obligations, and documentation and evidence requirements.Contractor Compliance - Verify contractor/sub‑contractor cost‑accounting systems, certified payroll, and labor‑rate reporting comply with applicable finance rules. Document contractor responses, evaluate corrective actions (e.g., revised cost breakdowns, payroll adjustments), and track to closure.Reporting - Produce dashboards and periodic reports for senior leadership, finance, and legal stakeholders. Highlight key metrics: case volume, closure rate, financial exposure, corrective‑action cost impact, and audit readiness status.Audit Support - Maintain complete case files, supporting invoices, cost‑allowance justifications, and audit trails for internal, external, and federal auditors. Facilitate audit walkthroughs, respond to audit queries, and implement corrective‑action plans to remediate audit findings.Skills and QualificationsHere's what you'll need:Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Compliance, Finance, Legal Studies, or related discipline preferred8+ years of experience in compliance, construction administration, contracts, project controls, quality, risk management, or a related fieldExperience managing corrective actions, investigations, cases, RFIs, nonconformances, or similar issue-management processesStrong documentation and organizational skillsExperience working with contractors and subcontractorsAbility to manage multiple issues across a complex construction programStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilityProficiency with Microsoft Office and project/document management systems Preferred QualificationsExperience with federally funded programsFederal construction compliance experienceDavis-Bacon/certified payroll experienceSemiconductor construction experienceExperience with large capital construction programsExperience with compliance management systemsExperience with audit preparationExperience with Jira, Confluence, Trimble ProjectSight, and other similar software platformsContract administration experience Core CompetenciesCase managementCorrective action managementCompliance documentationRisk identificationContractor coordinationIssue escalationData managementAudit readinessProcess disciplineCross-functional communicationRoot-cause analysisExecutive reporting Key Performance Indicators - Success will be measured by the percentage of cases assigned within the established timeframe, the percentage of cases closed on time, the aging of open cases, the number of overdue corrective actions, the accuracy and completeness of case documentation, the repeat occurrence of previously resolved issues, the completeness of audit evidence, the performance of contractor responses, and the timeliness of escalations.The current base salary range for this role is between $84,000.00 - $135,000.00. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.Total RewardsAt Samsung Austin Semiconductor, base pay is just one part of our total compensation package. Required Qualifications
