Come innovate with us!Position SummaryThe equipment technician at SAS is responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing and/or system operations, such as working with engineers and manufacturing in set-up and calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, documenting/following standard operating procedures, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the process and production of memory chips and logic. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes. In addition, determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Requires compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines.Role and ResponsibilitiesHere’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:Follows standard operating procedures to ensure equipment/processes/systems are running effectively and/or to respond to failure, maintenance needs, quality issues, incidents, damaged areas and/or defect issuesApplies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issuesUtilizes detailed instructions on SOPs to perform activities (i.e., PM card, CPM table, calibrations, inspections and/or construction tasks etc.)Provides support for new and existing equipment start upsGathers data and inputs it into relevant SAS systemsMonitors trends by observing change points and following escalation plans if any deviation occursPerformance analysis and either follows detailed scripts to perform troubleshooting or escalates issue as neededUtilizes the key takeaways leaned from day to fay activities to make recommendation to senior staff regarding potential improvementsMay maintain proficiency as a key ERT memberMay generate purchase orders and order materialOperates and retrieves data from equipmentWorks from schematics, diagrams, written/verbal instructions, layouts or defined plansApplies knowledge of relevant best practices, state and local code in area of expertiseRegular attendance and timeliness is required per departmental guidelinesWork hours: D Shift – Wednesday through Friday (6:45pm – 7:15am) with alternating SaturdaysSkills and QualificationsHere's what you'll need:High School Diploma or technical school certification preferred3+ years of experience preferredStrong mechanical aptitude highly desiredHighly capable in MS Word, Excel and Power PointMust have strong communication, teamwork, analytical and problem solving skillsFocused on continuous improvement in fast-paced, changing environmentHigh level of initiative and desire to learnFamiliar with TPM conceptsSuccessful candidates will be detail and task oriented and place high value on customer service, team work and flexibility.Ability to meet due dates for action itemsThe current base salary range for this role is between $20.50 - $46.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or technical school certification preferred (certification)

  • Must have strong communication, teamwork, analytical and problem solving skills (experience)
