Come innovate with us!Position SummaryDiffusion Operations shift supervisors lead a team of technicians focused on maintaining operational condition of state-of-the-art semiconductor production equipment.In this role, you will be responsible for team development and shift performance – balancing the development of your team’s technical and professional skills while driving achievement of key quality, production and cost performance metrics.Role and ResponsibilitiesHere's What You'll Be Responsible For: Manage, coach, and develop a team of 10-15 Diffusion techniciansCoordinate and lead team meetings and coordinate team members’ daily workload and sustaining activities in the fab when necessaryEnsure timely response to out-of-control or out-of-specification conditions to minimize impact to production and qualityMonitor equipment status and technician response throughout assigned shift to ensure availability goals are metLead the development, review and improvement of operational and technical documentation to identify and drive operational efficiency improvementsEnsure SOPs, PTPs, and Out of Control Action Plans (OCAPs) are utilized to work safely, efficiently, and cost-effectivelySupervise electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting activities to ensure best course of corrective action is determined and executedSkills and QualificationsHere's What You'll Need:Education: High school diploma / GED is required; Technical degree or equivalent military technical experience strongly preferred, but not required 5+ years of semi-conductor experience in high volume manufacturing environment highly desiredKnowledge of Diffusion, TEL/KE Furnace, AMAT EPI and/or CVD process and equipment preferred Experience supporting equipment maintenanceExperience supporting process development and sustainingTotal RewardsAt Samsung Austin Semiconductor, base pay is just one part of our total compensation package.
