Our qualified candidate will support the Company on a broad range of litigation matters. The Senior Litigation Counsel will coordinate all activities, internally and externally, including advocacy and strategy for litigation and investigative matters, internal communications, and discovery.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAs Senior Litigation Counsel, you will be responsible for managing litigation (e.g., product liability, consumer class actions, commercial litigation, etc.), including pre-litigation dispute resolution, discovery and other litigation requests and processes, preparing witnesses for testimony, reviewing pleadings and other court documents, and providing advice and recommendations to senior management, other litigation team members, and the Head of Litigation regarding strategy, management, and resolution of cases and matters. You will also manage the company’s response to government investigations.You will drive strategy, execution, and management of outside counsel on litigation and government investigation matters. You will work cross-functionally with teams to mitigate litigation risk and ensure compliance with litigation and regulatory obligations. Required Qualifications

  • On-Site Plano, TX (experience)
  • 10+ years of relevant legal experience in litigation, with at least 5 years of law firm experience (experience, 10 years)
  • A Juris Doctorate Degree from a top law school and admission to at least one state bar in good standing with the ability to be admitted to practice in Texas (degree in good standing with the ability to be admitted to practice in texas)
  • Prior in-house experience is a plus, but not required (experience)
  • Knowledge and experience with the following substantive areas of law preferred: class actions, mass arbitrations, product liability, general commercial litigation, and government investigations (experience)
  • Substantial pre-trial and trial experience, including coordinating and responding to discovery requests, and managing e-discovery in complex matters required (experience)
  • Substantial experience drafting, editing, and supervising pleadings at all stages of litigation is required (experience)
  • Substantial experience preparing witnesses for interviews, depositions, and trials is strongly preferred (experience)
  • Experience managing or actively participating on trial teams preferred (experience)
  • Appellate experience is a plus (experience)
  • Familiarity with high-tech, telecommunications, or consumer electronics business is a plus (experience)
