Their role is to measure the health of the equipment to identify low performance and implement actions to create high performance. The fleet of pumps generates a large volume of data, which must be monitored and evaluated against statistical limits that determine the healthiness of individual pumps. The inventory of spare pumps must be managed to maintain business continuity. The engineer is responsible for the performance of the onsite contractors performing pump maintenance according to SOP. Understanding pump failures and implementing improvement projects is the overall objective for a Pump engineer.Role and ResponsibilitiesHere’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:Measuring and documenting the performance of equipmentAnalyzing sensor data and deriving predictive models and forecasts for failureMaintaining procedures used to repair/replace equipmentIdentifying and implementing improvements to extend life or upgrade quality of equipment based on KPI impactUnderstanding technical design of equipment and perform troubleshooting of failuresSkills and QualificationsHere's what you'll need:​Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Process Engineering3+ years of engineering experience, manufacturing environment preferred, experience with vacuum pumps the most preferredAcademic background in Mechanical engineering preferredExperience in SCADA systems, or similar conceptExperience in vendor/contractor management The current base salary range for this role is between $95,000 - $120,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Required Qualifications
