With next-generation high-performance, high-capacity, and low-power products, Samsung is pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the semiconductor industry.As a member of the Technical Marketing Team in the Field Application Engineer role, you will analyze the EMEA market, understand customer expectations, and identify opportunities to drive business growth. You will deliver technical support and guidance, providing prompt solutions to technical issues to maximize orders for the company's products and services across various B2B markets, including Data Centre, Servers, PC, Networking, and Embedded.Role and ResponsibilitiesUnderstand customers' requirements, short-, mid-, and long-term objectives and challenges via regular customer calls and on-site meetingsPromote new products, technical developments, and provide guidance to customersSupport all technical activities until mass production, including answering technical questions, handling documentation, samples, conducting regular technical meetings with customers, tracking progress and milestones, driving internal development and quality teams to fulfill customers' requirements, and managing troubleshooting with HQ.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within the customer's organization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, technical/product marketing, and executive management, to ensure customer needs are met and a trusted partnership is established.Identify and report future trends, new demands, and competitionFollow-up and attend industry eventsKey Stakeholders: Memory Marketing and Sales teamTechnical marketing and QA teamSamsung Semiconductor Korea Technical Marketing TeamMajor European Customers & DistributorSkills and QualificationsA Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronics or related disciplinesDemonstrated technical expertise in the semiconductor industry and computing systems such as Server, PC, and Embedded systemsIn-depth knowledge of DRAM and NAND technologies is requiredComprehensive understanding of the IT industry (Server and DC markets), particularly in the memory sectorMinimum 7 years of experience in Field Application Engineer (FAE) or similar positions in Sales and Marketing functionsStrong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbalStrong technical marketing and business development capabilities, along with commercial senseEffective interpersonal and negotiation skillsWelcomes working in a multi-cultural and high intensity environmentWhat we offerSamsung is a global leader in technology, opening new possibilities for people everywhere. Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronics or related disciplines (degree in equivalent in electronics or related disciplines)
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in the semiconductor industry and computing systems such as Server, PC, and Embedded systems (experience)
  • In-depth knowledge of DRAM and NAND technologies is required (experience)
  • Comprehensive understanding of the IT industry (Server and DC markets), particularly in the memory sector (experience)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Field Application Engineer (FAE) or similar positions in Sales and Marketing functions (experience, 7 years)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal (experience)
  • Strong technical marketing and business development capabilities, along with commercial sense (experience)
  • Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills (experience)
