Come innovate with us!Position SummarySamsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a skilled Scanner Technician to join our Photo Operations team in the semiconductor industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our wafer fabrication processes, identifying complex problems, Monitoring trends, assessing results to what is expected, and implementing solutions to drive yield enhancement and customer quality product. The ideal candidate has multiple years' experience with ASML scanner equipment.Role and ResponsibilitiesHere’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:Troubleshoot and resolve complex photo scanner equipment issues.Attention to detail and very clear communication with the confidence to escalate any unknowns or issues.Analyze data using software tools to identify trends and possible problems; then translate into a working solutionEngagement with Engineering and vendors to ensure production quality result from the scanner equipment.Executes change point management to ensure Quality execution and validation.Continuously update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to assure a quality clear result.Work hours: C Shift – Thursday through Saturday (6:45am – 7:15pm) with alternating WednesdaySkills and QualificationsHere's what you'll need:Two year technical degree, equivalent military experience, and/or 5+ years direct applicable Photo semiconductor experience in high volume manufacturing environment.Successful candidates will be detail and task oriented and place high value on customer service, teamwork and flexibility.Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and technical documentsProblem Solving and assessment capability.The current base salary range for this role is between $31.00 - $46.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience.
