Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline. Mechanical preferred to best support the team and primary design focus. (degree in an engineering discipline)
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience. Preferably with facilities experience in semiconductor industry another related field. (experience, 8 years)
• 6+ years of MEP design experience with a 3D CAD design software. Preferably Autodesk Inventor and/or Revit. (experience, 6 years)
• Demonstrated experience working directly on-site alongside mechanical and electrical trade contractors. (experience)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. (experience)

• The current base salary range for this role is between $113,500 - $151,500. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance. (experience)

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5 engineers and project managers.
• Set clear performance objectives, measure and report progress, and provide means and methods for continuous process improvement.
• Oversee 3D design and utility hookup engineering.
• Provide technical ownership of BIM and virtual design workflows in ACC.
• Solve engineering design problems using standards, best known methods, and sound engineering principles.
• Develop and maintain design engineering standards and quality processes.
• Define execution and output monitoring strategies with support from Samsung expats.
• Drive execution and closure of design-related field RFIs.
