Description

The Lab Technician I handles samples, performs analyses and reports accurate and timely data according to Laboratory Operating Procedures and test methodologies.

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Homogenizes samples following standard protocols.
• Assists with cleaning laboratory carts, glassware, racks.
• Maintains cleanliness of laboratory work surfaces.
• Maintains records of all quality activities as required in Operating Procedures and Test Methods.
• Performs applicable testing with proper proficiency training with Supervision.
• Maintains and verifies equipment

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• HS Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Interest in Microbiology/Chemistry or related field or commercial laboratory experience. Preferred

WORK SCHEDULE

Part-Time Position Requirements:

• Availability for 2–3 days per week, with mandatory shifts every Saturday.
• Flexible scheduling options:
  • Full-day shifts from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, or
  • Evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
